Day 58
...in which the scaffolding comes down...YAY!!
Front
Side
and Rear
.....that looks better!
I can clean the kitchen window too! Actually, Patrick did it in the end. A huge improvement.
Our trusty burglar alarm friends from Grimsdells Court days come along and we plan how it will all work - yup you guessed - more money, but it will be an improved system, and flexible zoning arrangements - so good. Wiring put in place.
We go down to Gillec and chose the light fittings...and I thought that there would be no more decisions to be made - how silly!
Wayne and trusty friend work away all day on the plaster boarding of the interior.
Not v dramatic pics, but it is starting to look more like the finished product!
There is talk of doors and windows, still just talk though!
I read Mrs Hartley's Happiness by Phillipa Gregory - quite ridiculous but very amusing - especially as I have encountered women like the heroine!
And finally, James passed his ARCP interview for ST3 at last, which means he can go up a rung in the NHS hierarchy, and hopefully next year in RAF rankings! Good news!
